Well ....... When I say Country music ..... for me ..... Its something which engulfs me completely once I lend my ears to it , the flow so soothing , effect quite mesmerizing and you know, lyrics are also equally meaningful. Hold on ! I am not here to market the work of Don Williams or anyone, just letting out an aspect of music which really enthralls me ...... in and out.

Country Music is actually a catch-all category that embraces several different genres of music: Nashville sound , bluegrass , a fast mandolin, banjo and fiddle-based music, Western, which encompasses traditional Western ballads and Hollywood cowboy music, Western swing, a sophisticated dance music etc...... It is joyful, in contrast with the melancholic Jazz and the Blues. It contains the vigor and realism of the rural songs: Pains, love, illusions... there is much guitar and electronic instruments... but it is a song from the beginning to the end, with beautiful messages. Among these genres is one belonging to the gentle giant of country music - Don Williams as he is nicknamed. His mellow demeanor and warm, life-affirming songs has given him this distinction , whose appeal transcends age, genre and geography. He was elevated to a high pedestal when Eric Clapton contacted him and asked him to open his show in Nashville. He played him "Tulsa Time" which happened to be a major hit. This boosted his confidence and then he came with his signature hits "I believe in you" , "Luv is on a roll" , "True Luv" etc.

Its a music to share with someone you luv, some candles, wine and a pleasant fire. Wow! sounds good ..... even more when you happen to play "It must be luv .... " or "I wanna hear a heartbeat in the darkness..... " adding to the ambience. He has covered almost every aspect of life germinating from feeling for someone , turning out into fatal attraction .... what we term as true luv ...... to the sheer ecstasy being in this phase ...... eternal bliss ...... illusions , dreams and fantasies ..... and also for sorrow, pain etc. These are few of those pieces from his repertoire I will like to mention here, which leaves a perpetual trail on those who cherish it with full heart and soul :
